Dolomite walkers

After a picnic lunch, we continue through the green larch meadows
of the Val Foresta to the Lago di Braies, a place of legendary
beauty and majesty. The walk ends in the vicinity of the
lake’s only hotel--a curious Adirondack-style affair from the
end of the last century.

The spectacular blue-green alpine lake of the Pragser Wildsee ( Lago di
Braies) is your starting point for today's hike. This lake is surrounded by
the rocky peaks of the Seekofel and the Grosses Rosskofl. The hike leads you
around this beautiful lake into the Grunwald Valley through larch and pine
forests, open meadows and between rocky summits of the Hochalpenkopf and the
Seitenbach Spitz.
